Roberto is a native of Venezuela, he moved to America in 2004 and to Pittsburgh in 2013. He resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with his lovely wife of 18 years and his 4 daughters. Roberto obtained his Engineering Degree in Venezuela and his MBA in Texas. Roberto started his own business in 2016 and has worked on growing it since. When he is not working, he enjoys creating memories as a family, travelling, watching sports or playing chess. His faith is very important to Roberto and he tries to live his life according to the teaching of Jesus Christ. Roberto considers it a blessing for his daughters to have the opportunity to attend A One-Room Schoolhouse, serving in the Schoolhouse Board is an absolute pleasure.
Vice-President: Kyle Barry
Kyle is a Pittsburgh native with a background in engineering and business ownership. He resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with his lovely bride of 15 years and his 4 kids. When he is not working in or growing a business he enjoys creating memories as a family outdoors or just simply sitting in his backyard and watching the kids play. He counts it a privilege to get the opportunity to serve in a community of families that has values like those of A One-Room Schoolhouse and is excited to see the Schoolhouse continue to blossom and grow in the years to come.
Treasurer: Joshua Dadeboe
Secretary: Ashley Bennett
I count it a privilege to be the Secretary of A One Room School House board. I hope that my career and life experiences benefit the Schoolhouse community.
Professionally, I have been involved in education for 13 years. I have a dual degree in elementary and special education. I taught special education and middle school math in the city of Pittsburgh and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Currently, I am an adjunct education professor at Geneva College, where I teach Special Education Law. In my free time, I enjoy being with my husband and three kids (Avalyn, Jeb, and Jacob), going on walks on the trail, and working in the garden.
The opportunity to become involved with the board at the schoolhouse is important to me to help with expansion, develop relationships within the schoolhouse community, and to assist with the growth of the schoolhouse hybrid model. Our family counts it a blessing to be involved in this outstanding education community, and would love the opportunity to develop that more.
