That’s exactly what we’re planning.

On August 8th from Noon to 3:00 PM, A One-Room Schoolhouse families, alumni, supporters, grandparents, friends, and community members are invited to join us for our first-ever Un-Fundraiser.

Bring a picnic lunch. Bring a lawn chair. Bring a friend. If you’d like, bring a dish or dessert to share.

Most importantly, bring yourself.

More Than a Fundraiser

At A One-Room Schoolhouse, we have always believed that education is about community.

The relationships formed between students, families, teachers, and friends are just as important as the lessons learned in the classroom. The Un-Fundraiser is an opportunity to celebrate those relationships while helping support the future of our growing Schoolhouse.

There is no cost to attend.

Instead, we simply invite those who believe in our mission of Building Faith, Knowledge, and Character to give if they feel led.

Every dollar donated goes directly back into our Schoolhouse community.

Fresh supplies, learning materials, hands-on science resources, art materials, and classroom necessities help bring learning to life.

🌳 Enhance Our New Hickory Campus

We are excited about our new Hickory location and hope to add outdoor play equipment that encourages movement, creativity, and friendship.

🏫 Furnish Our New Plum Classroom

As enrollment continues to grow, we are preparing a brand-new classroom space that will serve students for years to come.

❤️ Fully Fund Our Scholarship Program

One of our highest priorities is ensuring families can access a Schoolhouse education regardless of financial circumstances.

Every Donation Makes a Difference

Sometimes it’s easy to think small gifts don’t matter.

At the Schoolhouse, they do.

• $10 fills a student’s pencil box.
• $50 provides elective materials for one student for an entire year.
• $100 pays for a substitute teacher when a classroom director is absent.
• $250 provides one month of scholarship assistance or helps purchase a climbing dome for our Hickory campus.
• $500 purchases a Gaga Ball Pit for student recreation.
• $1,000 supplies an entire classroom with materials for the school year.
• $2,000 helps purchase a new swing set.
• $3,000 fully outfits our new Plum classroom for the year.

No gift is too small. Every contribution helps us create meaningful learning experiences for our students.

This event is meant to be simple.

We’ll also be hosting a Silent Auction featuring generously donated items, gift baskets, services, and experiences from local businesses and supporters.
